This club was founded in 1977 with the objective of maintaining and preserving the Sunbeam Alpine series I to V models, manufactured and marketed by the Rootes Group between 1959 and 1968. The club also covers the Harrington Alpine and the rare Sunbeam Venezia, built in Milan by Carrozzeria Touring during 1963. With a membership of around 900, the club produces a bi-monthly magazine, ALPINE HORN, containing members' letters, advertisements, news of events, articles and technical advice. The club also holds various spares and items of regalia that members can purchase. Each year, one of the local areas hosts the National Meeting. The venues of past Nationals have been varied , but are always interesting.
